Job description

Position Summary : The Christmas Coordinator is responsible for managing the Christmas kettle campaign and supporting other programs and activities.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Respond to inquiries concerning bell ringing
  • Recruit bell ringers
  • Establish and maintain the kettle site work schedules, resolve scheduling conflicts, and arrange for contingencies
  • Assist in the printing / preparing of bell ringing reports and statistics, secure funds for counting as directed
  • Provide customer service to kettle location
  • Lead or arrange for daily devotions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Drive kettle routes to deliver / pick up kettles, check on ringers and transport ringers as needed
  • Arrange for placement and collection of counter kettles

    • Qualifications :

    Education / Experience :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) At least 18 years old; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

    • Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :

  • 1-year informal supervisory experience

    • Computer Skills :

    Certificates and Licenses :

  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
