We are growing and looking for a talented Accounting Clerk to join our team! If you are passionate about logistics and consistently go out of your way to learn and master new skills, we want you on our team!

PAY : Up to $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

HOURS : Monday-Friday; 7 : 30AM-4 : 00PM / Part-time may be considered

LOCATION : 13930 Missouri Bottom Rd. Bridgeton, Missouri 63044

TITLE : Accounting Clerk

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate data entry into QuickBooks and eventually SAP
  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Handle payment processing, including checks and ACH in a timely manner
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor records, ensuring up-to-date information is recorded in the system
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any billing or payment issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and authorization of expenditures
  • Assist with procurement responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
  • Filing and answering phones in the absence of the lobby receptionist
  • Download reports using multiple systems
  • Provide support to accounting group
  • Help with special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions
  • Ability to understand and interpret billing paperwork
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all laws pertaining to accounting
  • Ability to gather business requirements and outline business needs
  • Ability to handle high level of confidentiality regarding service information
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Regular and reliable attendance

    • providing exemplary customer service

    Education and Experience :

  • Some Accounting related courses preferred
  • 2-5 years experience in an accounting role preferred
  • SAP experience is required (Davidson is migrating from QuickBooks to SAP)
  • Experience collecting data from multiple sources to create reports
  • Strong skills with MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly

    • This position reports to the Accounting Managers and CFO of the company
