Waste Water Operator Technician

As part of our sustainability initiatives, we are seeking a skilled Waste Water Operator Technician to manage our wastewater treatment systems. This role is crucial for ensuring our production facilities operate in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, thereby supporting our mission to provide safe and environmentally-friendly food solutions. Operate and maintain all equipment in a wastewater treatment facility including pumps, filters, conveyors, and automated systems. Monitor facility operations through daily checks and routine inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Perform routine laboratory tests to monitor system performance and make adjustments to equipment as necessary to maintain quality standards. Record and report data on water quality and other relevant metrics, maintaining accurate logs of operations, maintenance, and repairs. Collaborate with facility management to develop and implement process improvements and troubleshoot system issues. Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols to protect both personnel and the environment. Participate in emergency response planning and execution in the event of environmental incidents or breaches.
