Job Summary

The Senior Billing Representative at Arch Amenities Group is responsible for various complex invoice processes, such as management fee billing, as well as contract reviews. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Senior Accountant - Billing plays a key role in streamlining and enhancing current processes to support operational excellence and scalability. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of collaboration and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Billing Team, prepare and review invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Responsible for specific monthly invoice processes, including upload templates, for management fee billing and other complex billing items.
  • Create and send invoices to customers based on company practices and client agreements, as well as processing refunds and write-offs.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.
  • Responsible for documenting revenue recognition policies and contract reviews, to assist the Revenue Manager.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency.
  • Analyze billing data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Preparing reports on accounts receivable status.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing billing and revenue recognition processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Assist in annual audit requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 4+ years in financial operations, billing, revenue recognition (ASC 606), contract reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office Suite.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to streamline processes and implement operational improvements.
  • Knowledge of billing regulations and revenue recognition principles.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus.
