Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Special Education Teacher (Moderate Needs)

Location : Boulder, CO

Discipline : SPED (Moderate)

Dates : February 13, 2025 May 22, 2026

Hours : Full-time | 8 hours / day (7.5 paid, 0.5 unpaid lunch)

Position Type : Onsite Only

Caseload / Details :

Moderate needs caseload, responsibilities vary by school

No direct case management responsibilities

Collaborate with classroom teachers who serve as case managers

Conduct student observations and develop materials / systems for academic and behavioral strategies

Provide direct push-in support across multiple buildings

Rotating daily schedule between several elementary schools

Special Requirements :

Must hold a valid Colorado teaching license effective through the end of the school year or have an active licensure application in process (documentation required)

Masters Degree in Special Education

Minimum of 3 years of classroom experience

Strong IEP writing and mentoring skills

Proven ability to collaborate with staff and provide academic and behavior support guidance

Note : Candidates cannot sign TTE
