Description :
Travel RRT position available for a 13-week assignment.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required.
Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are necessary.
The unit typically has two respiratory therapists on duty, equally dividing assignments.
The department utilizes Puritan Bennett 840 and 980, Hamilton T1, and V60 equipment.
Documentation is managed through a Meditech system.
The department cares for newborns, pediatrics, and adults.
Procedures performed in the unit include arterial blood gases and intubations.
The unit is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and has a Level 2 NICU.
Travelers may work in the ICU and assist with open-heart patients as well as care for critically ill patients.
Black scrubs are required for the uniform.
