Sheet Metal Installer
Location : Bedford Park, IL
Pay Rate : $35.00 $45.00 Per Hour + Bonus & Commission Opportunities
Position Overview :
Seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems across residential and commercial projects. This role requires experience with blueprint reading and a strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal for HVAC ductwork and related components
- Install sheet metal in both new construction and retrofit applications
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications accurately
- Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with team members, contractors, and supervisors on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal installation or HVAC ductwork preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagramsHigh attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanshipPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditionsValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredOSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (training available if needed)Benefits :
