Pizza Maker / Cook

At Zalat, we don’t just make pizza—we obsess over it. As a Pizza Zealot, you’ll be part of the kitchen crew responsible for crafting the Best Takeout Pizza in the Universe. Whether you’re on prep, working the ovens, or expediting orders, you’ll be trained on every station and grow your skills (and your pay) as you go.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and cook pizzas to perfection in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (yes, we crank out over 1,200 pizzas on busy days).

• Master each kitchen station through hands-on training—from prep and cook to expo and cleaning.

• Work closely with your teammates and shift leads to deliver consistently high-quality food and service.

• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with all food safety standards.

• Thrive in a late-night environment—we stay open super late and weekends/holidays tend to be our busiest shifts.

• Lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift and remain on your feet for extended periods.

What You Bring:

• No experience needed—we’ll train you on the job.

• A great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be coached.

• Reliability and respect for your team and customers.

• A love for fast-paced environments and late-night energy.

• Food Handler’s Certification (we’ll cover the cost if you don’t have one yet).

Scheduling:

We’re open late, including weekends and holidays. Expect to work night shifts and peak holiday hours. We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
