Overview
The Client Communications Specialist is the first point of contact for SLP clients and plays a critical role in ensuring positive client experiences. This position manages the majority of inbound calls, emails, and correspondence, and provides support with financial-related follow-ups. By acting as a bridge between clients, financial institutions, and internal departments, the Specialist helps maintain smooth workflows, clear communication, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact on the firm's phone tree and manage high call volumes with professionalism.
Answer, triage, and direct the majority of inbound client calls, emails, and messages.
Place outbound calls to clients regarding settlement disbursements, financial follow-ups, and documentation requests.
Accurately document all client interactions in the firm's case management software.
Provide exceptional client service, ensuring clients feel informed, respected, and supported throughout their case.
Collaborate closely with settlements, disbursements, and case management teams to ensure timely communication and follow-through.
Assist with administrative tasks and special projects related to client communications.
Qualifications
Bilingual (English / Spanish) required, with strong fluency in both written and verbal communication.
2+ years of experience in a client-facing, customer service, or legal support role preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations and de-escalate client concerns.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Professional phone etiquette, polished communication style, and ability to convey empathy and understanding.
Comfort with case management systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
