Responsibilities

Develop and implement competitive swim and dive programs for a diverse student body.

Coach and mentor student-athletes to achieve personal and athletic goals.

Maintain current TB test, CPR, and First Aid certifications.

Ensure compliance with the California Interscholastic Federation Code of Ethical Conduct.

Prepare athletes and coaches for competition, including scheduling meets and overseeing travel logistics.

Collaborate with school administrators, fitness staff, and parents to support student wellness.

Qualifications

Appropriate California Teaching Credential (Non-certificated applicants may apply under California Administrative Code Section 5531).

Successful coaching experience in high school swim and dive.

Current TB test, CPR, and First Aid certifications.

Familiarity with the Code of Ethical Conduct published by the California Interscholastic Federation.

Preference given to in-house candidates.
