Auditor Assistant
Responsible professional auditing work supervising subordinate auditing personnel and performing financial and operational audits of a complex nature; and related work as required.
Permanent status as an Auditor Assistant with the City of New Orleans or Sewerage and Water Board and one (1) year of experience in that classification. Or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university OR a Bachelor's Degree in another field with at least fifteen (15) semester hours of accounting and nine (9) additional hours in either economics, management, or another business related course from an accredited college or university. Possession of a current Certified Public Accountant Certificate in Louisiana may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience. Some positions may require a valid driver's license and use of an automobile.
