Job Brief

Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Driver for our client. This position involves safely transporting products and materials, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting with loading and unloading operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and experience operating forklifts and handling cargo.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

  • Inspects vehicles before and after use to determine vehicle condition, records inspections, and reports requirements.
  • Ensures safety in loading product or materials onto vehicles.
  • Deliver products or materials to destinations by identifying destinations, selecting routes, and driving vehicles.
  • Protects the load by maintaining a safe vehicle and condition and adhering to organizational policies and procedures and highway rules and regulations.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish ob results.
  • Maintain records by completing driver logs, obtaining shipper and consignee pprovals, and filing documents.
  • Contributes to teamwork by achieving relevant results as needed.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

  • Valid Ohio license with clean driving record
  • Must pass a driver’s physical test
  • Experience in loading and securing cargo
  • Experience operating forklifts
  • Experience with crane operation is a plus
  • No CDL required
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
  • Ability to utilize hand / eye coordination.
  • Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Communication skills.
