Customer Service Representative Remote (Tampa Bay Area Only)

About the Role
Were hiring Customer Service Representatives to support our CAT (Catastrophe) call center team. Youll provide professional and friendly support to insureds, agents, and related businesses by phone. This is a remote role limited to candidates living in the Tampa Bay area who can work extended hours during high call volumes.
What Youll Do
- Answer inbound and outbound calls regarding policy information, billing, and claims.
- Process First Notice of Loss (FNOL) and provide claim status updates.
- Accurately document all customer interactions in system applications.
- Deliver clear, friendly, and professional service with the goal of first-call resolution.
- Handle conflict situations with patience and professionalism.
- Stay current with department guidelines and reference documents.
- Work extended or irregular hours as needed during peak demand.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For
Experience : 12 years of customer service or call center experience.Technical skills : Basic Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); type at least 45 wpm with 90% accuracy; comfortable with computer systems and headsets. Remote users must have Windows 10.Communication : Strong verbal and written skills; able to explain policy and claim information clearly.Problem-solving : Ability to remain calm under pressure, resolve issues quickly, and work with multiple systems.Professionalism : Comfortable managing high call volumes and difficult customer situations with a positive, customer-first attitude.Work Environment
