ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site electrical activities on construction projects, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract documents and applicable codes. This role serves as the field leader for the electrical scope of work, managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and driving schedule adherence. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in electrical systems and proven experience in industrial construction. The Electrical Superintendent plays a critical role in field coordination, quality control, safety enforcement, and effective communication with the project team and trade partners.

Qualifications : Required :

• 5-10+ years of experience in the electrical trade with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role
• High school diploma or GED required
• Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including distribution, instrumentation and controls
• Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and electrical safety standards
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by project location)
• Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement
• Current OSHA 30 certification

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at employee's work station. In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $155,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.

Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth.
