Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT RT(M) certification and at least 2 years of experience in mammography and DEXA scanning.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a clinical setting performing mammography radiographic procedures
  • Patient population includes those needing screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Responsibilities include DEXA scans and potential procedure / biopsy assistance
  • Uses Epic for EMR documentation
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with one Saturday per month required
  • Uniform colors are pink or black
  • Duties include performing mammographic imaging procedures used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment
  • Procedure and biopsy experience is preferred but not required
  • Direct patient care is required
  • Full Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • Relias Behavioral Assessment, skills checklist, and resume required for application
  • No radius rule applies to candidates
  • Both local and travel candidates are eligible at the same rate

  • ARRT RT(M) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
  • Experience with DEXA scanning
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR
  • Active licenses and certifications are required at the time of consideration
  • License required if applicable
