Emergency Room RN Montgomery, AL

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced ER RN for a contract assignment in Montgomery, AL. This role is ideal for nurses with critical care experience ready to work in a Level II Trauma and Level III NICU facility.

Assignment Details :

Location : Montgomery, AL

Length : 13 weeks (11 / 10 / 25 2 / 7 / 26)

Shift Options : 12-hour shifts 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 3p-3a

Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule

Holiday Expectations : One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy

Orientation : 24 hours classroom + 24 hours on-unit for new or returning travelers

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year ER / ICU experience for first-time travelers; 2 years critical care for experienced travelers

Level II Trauma or higher experience

Cerner or EPIC EMR experience

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure / CPI, NIHSS, TNCC

Skills Required :

Trach care, vent care, ICU drip management

Chest tube, arterial line, CVL, PICC, midline, port care

Foley and continuous bladder irrigation

Splint / orthopedic device care, BiPAP / HiFlow management

Multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB / GYN, pediatric, psychiatric patient care

Patient Ratios : ER : 1 : 4

MS Holds : 1 : 5

ICU Holds : 1 : 3

Unit Support : CNA ratio 1 : 12

Receptionist / HUC, Charge Nurse, Phlebotomy, IV / VAT Team, Hospitalist support

Technology / Equipment :

EMR : Cerner

IV Pumps : Plum 360

Medication Dispensing : Omnicell

Monitors : Spacelabs

Other Information :

Floating : None required

Scrub Color : Any solid color

Parking : Parking garage provided

Approval of time off : Up to 7 days excluding blackout dates
