Administrator - Vehicle Business Development - Irvine, CA
The Administrator - Vehicle Business Development position will be responsible for executing day to day support, primarily for customer's financial analysis departmental KPIs, and various weekly and monthly reports needed by the Business Development's leadership. This position will collaborate daily with project managers as well as other internal stakeholders for various financial reports. Such duties include but are not limited to : existing business management, identifying new business opportunities, manage and maintain team documentation efforts for response to customers. Additionally, the Administrator will also support the Business Development department with various ad hoc reports needed by the organization's leadership.
Responsibilities :
- Support Business Development team with administrative duties related to various departmental reports and financial reporting
- Review data, assumptions, and price quotes prepared by other teams, to ensure accuracy and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to provide leadership with updates on KPIs, Accounts Receivables, and other regularly scheduled reports
- Support the development on PowerPoint presentation and / or marketing materials, organize quarterly business conferences and / or events
- Support the Business Development Manager in meeting sales targets by actively engaging in client meetings, negotiations (customers / vendors), and constructing proposals
- Supervises the department's Senior Analyst to ensure proper results are achieved
- Work independently and collaboratively with all departments across the company
- Build collaborative partnerships with finance and operations to facilitate synergy, creativity, and effectiveness
- Work with Senior Analyst to conduct industry research to determine competitive pricing for various services offered by the organization for winning sales bids
- Client Relationship Management
- Supervise the Senior Analyst to conduct in-depth research on Finished Vehicle Logistics OEM Sales industry trends, identifying or long-term business opportunities
- Present Summary of data and trends periodically through research, collection, and analysis of the latest market research
- Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to establish pricing strategies
- Perform intensive cost analysis with internal operation teams
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Assist market analysis and sales proposal to company's leadership, and develop new business
- Translate current business results into visual presentations for management
- Utilize graphic design tools, maps, charts / tables, presentation slides, and interpret engaging custom presentation and proposals (in Power Point or other relevant software) with compelling visual content
- Represent Glovis America at industry and company events
- Conduct ad-hoc projects as requested by management
- Quarterly Business Travel
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation Range $68,000 - $74,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
