The Vice President, Infrastructure & Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for Cambridges technology environmentdriving reliability, security, and scalability across the enterprise. This role leads multiple teams including Helpdesk, Application Support, Production Support, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity. The VP will shape the technology strategy, foster innovation, and ensure alignment with the firms business goals, regulatory requirements, and client service standards.

Essential Duties
- Strategic Leadership Partner with the CTO and executive team to develop and execute the firms technology strategy, ensuring it supports business growth, operational efficiency, and security.
- Operational Excellence Oversee the daily operations of the technology organization, ensuring uptime, performance, and exceptional service delivery to internal associates and external financial professionals.
- Cybersecurity Oversight Direct the firms cybersecurity framework and incident response strategies, ensuring compliance with FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory bodies. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and testing to maintain a strong security posture.
- Infrastructure & Systems Management Lead the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructureincluding networks, servers, data centers, and cloud environmentsto ensure resilience, scalability, and modernization.
- Vendor & Contract Management Evaluate and manage technology vendors, cloud providers, and managed service partners. Negotiate and maintain cost-effective contracts and SLAs that align with organizational needs.
- Service & Support Leadership Guide Helpdesk and Production / Application Support teams to deliver high-quality, timely, and empathetic support experiences. Establish service standards and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Change Management & Culture Lead organizational transformation initiatives by promoting innovation, transparency, and adaptability. Empower teams through clear communication, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Maintain and evolve the firms business continuity and disaster recovery programs to ensure operational resilience.
- Governance & Compliance Oversee adherence to information security policies, technology standards, and industry regulations across all technology functions.
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in IT leadership experience, enterprise infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure preferred), and cybersecurity frameworks.
This leader must bring strong technical acumen, the ability to drive organizational change, and a people-first leadership style that inspires collaboration and accountability across the department and the firm.Certificates & Licenses
FINRA Series 7 or ability to obtain within 12 months required.
Preferred Skills
