Job description

Tow Truck Driver

We are seeking a dedicated Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Gig Harbor, WA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional towing services within Pierce Counties for both private and city, state and county municipality calls.

Duties :

  • Respond to service calls promptly and efficiently
  • Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles
  • Perform basic automotive diagnostics when needed
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients
  • Operate a tow truck, including carrier and manual transmission vehicles
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to secure vehicles for transport
  • On call availability 4 days / nights per week (able to respond for calls after your regular shift)
  • Ability to bring home and provide secure parking for your on-call assigned truck up to 33'
  • You will be responsible for some of your own tools, and you will be advised what you will need during training

Qualifications :

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL A plus!
  • Need to be able to pass a Drug Screen and WA State Patrol background check
  • Ability to drive and operate a tow truck effectively
  • Mechanical knowledge to handle basic vehicle issues
  • Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
  • Must be capable of lifting 65+lbs, sitting and standing for long periods of time
  • You must be approved under WAC 204-91A-060 sections (5) thru (13)
