The Facilities Maintenance Technician at the International African American Museum plays a critical role in ensuring the museum's physical environment is safe, functional, and welcoming for all visitors and staff. This position involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a variety of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. The technician will proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
