Job Title : Medical Oncologist / Hematologist

Shift : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm, plus minimal call

Experience : Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Medical Oncology and Hematology

License : Must have or be willing to obtain an Iowa license

Certifications : Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology

Must-Have : Clean malpractice record preferred; no visa support requirement

Job Description :

• Join a well-established practice with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Expect to allocate work hours with approximately a 30 / 70 split between Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Handle after-hour calls that are by phone only and minimal.
• Participate in a practice that is directly connected to the hospital.
• Average of 30 patient consultations daily, with new patient visits scheduled for 30 minutes and follow-up visits for 15 minutes.
• Work in a professionally managed, state-of-the-art facility with comprehensive ancillary services.
• Strong primary care network available for internal referrals.
• Supported by a team of four RNs, MA, CNA, and a receptionist.
• Hospitalists available to cover infusions when needed.
• Onsite Radiation Oncology provided through an outreach program.
