Election Supply Clerk
The Election Supply Clerk works in an environment that requires employees to be detailed-oriented multitaskers. The work is performed under the supervision of a Team Leader, who will instruct and train and use appropriate methods to help an employee become familiar with the work sequencing and the parameters for how each job must be done. The basic job consists of learning the procedures and practices for the receiving and accounting for inventory, building and packing and shipping out voting supplies and materials to voting centers during an election cycle. Employees will also be required to learn the supply handout and equipment drop-off processes and other related duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Required to sort and count inventory into specific numerical sets, such as, documents, forms, manuals, supplies, and other materials that are then boxed and organized, properly labeled, and placed onto palettes and in supply cabinets for storage, until they are scheduled to be shipped out to the authorized voting centers during an election.
- Required to work in a team to assemble supply boxes, judges' boxes, supply cabinets, and must support the supply warehouse inventory process, etc.
- Will be crossed-trained and assigned to work a variety of in-house supply chain functions, such as, Archiving, Election Day supply handout and supply drop-off for Early and Election Day voting. (Some auxiliary assignments will be performed at other alternative locations and during hours outside of the normal daily work schedule).
- When necessary, will be required to support the call center by answering calls for the replenishment of supplies, help judges locate paperwork in their boxes, and document and record the completion status for calls into an electronic database file.
- Responsible for placing forms, documents, and supplies in boxes for storage by lifting item onto shelves or stacking them onto pallets for placement into overhead storage bays and required to operate a pallet jack for large heavy items that cannot be moved or safely lifted.
- Assist in cleaning the warehouse storage area and keeping the area well organized and must pull damaged and out of date items and dispose of them per established recycling requirements.
- Required to work as a supply "delivery runner" to drop-off requested supplies at designated voting centers.
- Must have dependable transportation.

Education :
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Ability to lift 35 - 50 pounds.Attentive to detail and consistently thorough.Ability to use basic warehouse assisting equipment (pallet jacks, conveyor belts, laminators, etc.).Must stand / walk for extended periods as required by the work being performed and bend to lift or move various work-related items.Excessive pushing / pulling and lifting required.Able to twist, turn, kneel, stoop, bend, lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds using appropriate and proper lifting techniques and tools.Note : Qualifying education, experience, knowledge, and skills must be documented on your job application. Temp Full-time | Position End Date : 12 / 16 / 2025Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 A.M. - 4 : 30 P.M.40 hours / week | Ability to work long hours during election cycles. | Hours can be up to 18 hours.Overtime hours as required to include weekend and holidays.Blackout dates will be provided.Salary : $17.00 Hourly
