Volt is immediately hiring an experienced CAD Model Engineer in  Austin, TX with a well-known industry leader.

In this role you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.

This is a first shift position.

As a CAD Model Engineer you will :

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for various engineering projects.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure models meet project specifications and requirements.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and identify potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines in all CAD designs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of CAD standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.

This is a full-time contingent opportunity

Estimated Duration 24+ months

Pay Rate : $30.00-35.00 per hour
