Coding and Medical Records Specialist

As a full-time Coding and Medical Records Specialist, you would be responsible to assist the RN-MDS Coordinator with the coding, documentation and data management, and knowledge and understanding of billing and reimbursement processes for residents at Jackson County Medical Care Facility.

Demonstrate an understanding of the current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern RAI in long-term care facilities.
Participate in surveys and audits made by authorized government agencies.
Support Eden Alternative principles and resident-centered / directed care.
