Job description

Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant

Location : Portland, ME 04102

Duration : 3 months+ with possible extension

Shift timing -

Start Time : 7 : 00 AM.

End Time : 7 : 30 PM.

Position Information :

Specialty : Neuro / Client / Trauma.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 / 48.
Weekend Hours : Every other weekend.
Call Requirements : No.
Float Requirements : As needed.

Education & Certifications Required :

Required Certifications : Maine CNA certification.

Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 26 (R6), 12 (Bean 2), 9 (IMC).

Patient Ratios : 1 : 8, 1 : 6, 1 : 3 (IMC).

EMR : Epic.

Hiring Profile :

Must Have Skills / Experience : Acute care / hospital experience.

Preferred Skillset / Experience : Neuro / Neurosurg / Med-Surg.

Type of Patients on Unit : Neurosurgical patients (spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors), seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, joint replacement surgery.

Personality Fit : Proactive team player with positive attitude. Work-focused.

Dress Code :

Scrub Color : Any.

Unacceptable Attire : Must maintain professional appearance. No ear buds / personal cell phones. Will terminate contract related to this.
