Job Title : Travel RN – Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) Facility : Canyon Vista Medical Center, Sierra Vista, AZ Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Overview : Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical / Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities :

Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and responses to interventions.

Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management.

Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.

Qualifications :

Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state eligibility.

Minimum of 2 years of recent Med / Surg experience required.

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment.

Assignment Details :

Travel contract position

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM
