Key Job Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment Location : Yuma, Arizona (85364) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Assignment Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Openings : 5 ICU RN positions Self-Scheduling : Available with flexibility Weekend / Holiday : 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks; 2 major holidays during assignment Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Arizona or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Proficient with Epic EMR Skilled in titrating critical ICU drips (vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, anticoagulants, insulin) Ability to float to other units as needed Strong teamwork and communication skills ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 42-bed ICU Maintain nurse-patient ratios of 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 (MedSurg ICU); 1 : 3 if no vents / drips Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions Titrate and administer a variety of ICU medications and drips Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and clinical support staff Accurately document care and interventions in Epic EMR Participate in rapid response and code situations Float to other units as needed, ensuring safe patient ratios Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Experience the warmth and hospitality of Yuma while making a difference in critical care nursing.
