Our Electrical Products business unit in Smart Infrastructure develops low and medium-voltage technology and solutions for power systems.

We are looking for a Spring 2026 (January - May) Quality Engineer Co-op as part of the Operations Leadership Development Program with our Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products division. This position is based in Grand Prairie, Texas.

This co-op will prepare you for a potential opportunity with our two-year rotational Operations Leadership Development Program and other entry-level roles upon graduation.

You'll make an impact by :

Participating in hands-on projects where you will tackle real-world manufacturing challenges, enhance plant productivity, improve operations, drive efficiency and sustainability, and fuel the growth of our business and strategic partnerships with vendors and customers

Interacting and influencing different areas of the factory and our manufacturing operations through cross-functional projects with our production, manufacturing engineering, and logistics teams

Developing and implementing quality process improvements, leveraging Quality Core Tools and quality management systems and methodologies.

Reducing defects for sections of fabrication and assembly lines for our power distributions products and reduce scrap on assembly lines

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive ongoing operational improvements

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

Rising juniors, rising seniors, and master's pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related majors (must be enrolled as a student at the time of the internship)

Must be enrolled as a student at the University of Texas Arlington at the time of the co-op

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, and documentation

Basic knowledge of industrial engineering tools and electrical components

Available to work 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm) from January 2026 to May 2026

Eligible candidates must have reliable transportation and be located within 50 miles of Grand Prairie, TX as this role does not provide housing or relocation support

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in electrical engineering or manufacturing environments related to power distribution products

Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence various areas of the factory

Effective communication and problem-solving skills to drive quality and operational improvements

Familiarity with basic statistical tools

Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings
