Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Aero / Secret Clearnce in Long Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a member of the Allied Universal team at this dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, contributing to a secure environment for people and property. This is an armed and driving post, where your presence and professionalism help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
