Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed on a contract basis through the end of the school year, with potential for extension. This role supports student services impacted by a backlog, providing pensatory speech services to help students meet their munication goals.

Location : Ventura, CA

Setting : School

Contract length : Full time until the end of the school year, with potential to extend

Key qualifications and experience :

  • SLP with Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings a plus
  • Teletherapy experience beneficial but not required
  • Eligible candidates include SLPs in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or licensed SLPAs with school or healthcare experience
  • Ability to deliver pensatory speech services efficiently in a school environment
  • Willingness to collaborate as an essential part of the student services team

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students requiring pensatory support
  • municate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ply with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with assigned SLPA (which can be provided if you have one) to support service delivery
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs, including in-person and teletherapy as appropriate
