Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Welder to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal components to meet engineering specifications and production standards.
Responsibilities not limited to :
\n
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as part of the production team.
\n
Read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications to determine appropriate fabrication methods and sequence of operations.\n
Select the correct gauge and type of sheet metal according to job requirements.\n
Create high-quality welds in alignment with blueprints and quality standards.\n
Inspect welds and completed jobs to ensure accuracy and quality.\n
Prepare materials by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting prior to welding.\n
Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as industrial saws.\n
Change welding wire and gas tanks as needed.\n
Monitor and maintain equipment; request maintenance when necessary.\n
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\n
Adhere to all established safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment at all times.\n
Identify and correct unsafe conditions, reporting unresolvable issues to a supervisor.\n
Perform other related duties as assigned.\n \n
Requirements
Qualifications
\n
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three years of welding experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n
Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.\n
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.\n
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.\n
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.\n
Ability to speak, read, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.\n \n Physical Demands & Work Environment

Constantly required to stand and use hands and fingers with dexterity.\n
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.\n
Occasionally required to lift, push, or carry items up to 50 pounds.\n
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and extreme (non-weather) heat.\n
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.\n
Frequently works in environments with loud noise levels.\n
Requirement to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\n
Frequent use of visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information accurately.\n \n
