We’re seeking a Transmission Strategy and Policy Lead to play a key role in shaping transmission strategy, optimizing cost structures, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position will lead engagement with RTOs (MISO, PJM), manage FERC filings, and provide strategic direction for long-range transmission planning and economics.
What You’ll Do :
- Lead regulatory engagement with MISO and PJM, including tariff management and compliance.
- Represent the organization in FERC filings and transmission zone management.
- Drive strategic input into long-term transmission planning and portfolio optimization.
- Monitor and analyze federal and state policy developments affecting transmission services.
- Oversee economics assessments, OATT reviews, Attachment O filings, and cost recovery mechanisms.
- Manage transmission and wholesale distribution charges to ensure cost efficiency.
- Optimize ARR / FTR strategies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s / MBA / JD preferred).7+ years of experience in transmission economics, regulatory affairs, or utility operations.Strong understanding of FERC regulations, MISO / PJM tariffs, and transmission market structures.Proven strategic planning, financial modeling, and cross-functional leadership skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Why Join :
