The Partner Solutions Group is seeking an Associate to manage the day-to-day interactions with the Japan, Private Wealth, Institutional Partner distribution teams, as well as fund administration vendors. The Associate will interface across multiple departments to communicate time-sensitive, proprietary information to each of our partners. This person will be the main point of contact for internal and external communications regarding product-specific operational inquiries. This position is best suited for candidates who excel in fast paced, collaborative work environments. You will work closely with the Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Tax, Marketing, IT, and Internal Audit.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage daily requests for a specific fund or funds from internal sales team members, firms, investors, partners and other internal parties in a timely manner.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders with on-boarding, account opening, maintenance requests, capital calls, distribution requests, reporting and other transactions.
  • Oversee several vendors utilized as part of the partner and investor on-boarding, reporting and communication process, as well as represent CIM in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Assist with deliverables outlined by leadership to establish servicing for new fund launches and / or restructuring activity.
  • Speak comfortably and confidently with advisors, firms, and investors.
  • Escalate issues to the manager as they arise.
  • Interface with internal departments such as, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Tax, Marketing, IT, and Internal Audit.
  • Monitor recurring requests, analyze reports, follow and maintain proper procedures and processes that preserve privacy, reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with Custodians to reconcile positions and transactions.
  • Document procedures for processes and review on a recurring basis.

Education / Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business)
  • 2+ years relevant experience in the investment management or financial services industry with a focus on investor relations
  • Series 7 / 63 or Series 99 licensing required or willing to obtain within 6 months

  • Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external parties on complicated topics and sensitive matters
  • Technical Skill Requirements :
  • Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Teams
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce
  • Mathematical Skill Requirements :
  • Ability to analyze reporting metrics and spot variables
  • Ability to comprehend general economic data and statistics
  • Reasoning Skill Requirements :
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to prioritize varying requests and manage a variety of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work with confidentiality when needed.
