We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.

Available Shifts :

  • Mixed Shift : 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM & 9 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM.

Job Summary ​​​​​​ :

We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is providing general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities :

  • Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
  • Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
  • Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
  • Sustain the hospital formulary, minimising nonformulary procurement's, utilising therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection.
  • Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
  • Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
  • Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
  • Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
  • Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team.

    • ​ Qualifications :

  • Open to New Grad Pharmacists that completed an internship in a hospital setting. Looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of recent hospital experience or the completion of a PGY-1 in a hospital setting.
  • MUST HAVE ACUTE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST YEAR
  • B.S. or PharmD from and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate Florida State Board of Pharmacy.

    • Shift Differentials : Evenings : $3.00 / hr ; Nights : $6.00 / hr

    Sign on : $10,000 Sign On Bonus to be paid out in 5 instalments over a 2 year commitment.

    Relocation : Case by Case.
