Expo / Food Runner

Bad Brother is looking for a Full Time 5 day per week Expo / Food Runner. Ideally this person is able to run a very busy high pressure line, staying organized running tickets and keeping a calm demeanor while acting as the main liaison between front and back of the house. Must be comfortable communicating with chefs and tracking where they are on the board, must be willing to run food, bus tubs and pitch in wherever necessary for that particular shift. We are a very small family owned restaurant and we pride ourselves on doing things the right way and not taking shortcuts. We are looking for like minded people, who can consistently come to work with a positive attitude whether it is our busiest night of the week or our slowest night of the week.

This job can expect 5 shifts per week and ~30 hours to start, more hours can be made available eventually with proven performance if wanted. Pay is $15 - $18 hr BOE + share of tip pool which on a typical week averages between $20.50 - $25.50 per hour depending on hourly rate and the week.

Responsibilities :

Ensure excellent product quality.

Ensure all food items to order and in timely fashion.

Communicates with team and management regarding food iteams and orders.

Minimize waste of product.

Keeping work area and tools properly clean.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach shoulder level.

Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures.

Must be able to lift / carry 50 lbs.
