Job Description

AECOM has a position available for a RenewablesTechnical Lead to oversee our talented team of engineers and designers working on renewable projects across the country for the US Energy Practice. For this role, AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and / or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States .

Our team provides a wide range of engineering services in support of projects across the country. The renewable project scopes include commercial and industrial installations focused on resiliency, efficiency and reliability as well as those utility scale projects seeking to power communities via interconnected networks or local high density installations. Areas of focus include solar photovoltaics (PV), including new technologies in agrivoltaics and floating PV, energy storage (e.g. BESS, supercapacitors), interconnection, wind repowering, new site development and more.

We are looking for an up-and-coming leader with a technical diverse background in distributed energy solutions to promote our skills to new clients and maintain our deep existing client base.

Qualified candidates will have a strong background in engineering coupled with experience supervising teams and leading tasks on projects.

The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following :

• Team supervision and Leadership :

Support department manager in advancing the culture of technical excellence and accountability

Lead by example in engineering execution functioning as technical lead and engineer of record on projects
