Job Summary :

The Visitor Engagement

Attendants serve as one of the first points of contact for museum visitors at both its downtown Jones Center location and its west Austin location at Laguna Gloria.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Provide information about the museum and the art on view
• Greet museum visitors and process admission transactions
• Solicit museum memberships
• Complete store transactions, share shop merchandise details with visitors
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Open and close galleries and / or property gates and buildings when necessary
