Description :

The facility features 174 licensed beds.

Pediatric trauma services are not available.

The hospital is part of a Chest Pain Network.

It is TJC Stroke accredited.

Patient types include stroke, heart failure, chest pain, and those requiring fluid resuscitation or blood products.

Patients with respiratory illnesses, GI disorders, liver failure, and acute kidney injury are also treated.

Staffing ratios are RN : 1 : 3-4 and CNA : 1 : 5-6.

Required skills include management of critical care drips such as insulin, nitroglycerin, diltiazem, and heparin.

Experience in stroke management and cardiac rhythm interpretation is essential.

Additional skills include trach care, IV starts, chest tube management, and drain / tube management.

No telemetry monitoring tech is available; nurses read monitors directly.

Virtual nursing support is available 24 / 7.

Support within the department includes nursing assistants and charge nurses.

Weekend rotations occur every other week.

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.

RTO requests must receive manager approval.
