Responsible for providing pre-sales technical support / expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort. Possesses specialized product knowledge in a single product or product line. Delivers in depth presentations and product demonstrations to clients and sales representatives. May possess some experience in load flow studies in PSS / E or PSLF and time domain studies in PSCAD or EMTP. May have a continuing role in customer support to address clients' issues.

• Establishes and maintains long-term relationships with customers (and key external stakeholders) to understand needs, promote customer understanding and awareness of full product / systems / services offerings, and align to provide a solution.
• Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to the customer.
• Communicates efficiently with customers and other stakeholders (ISOs, consultants, among others)
• Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Seeks optimized technical solutions resourcefully, collaborating with broad Hitachi Energy FACTS team.
• Creates added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy by using innovation and experience from installed projects. Communicates details in accordance with Hitachi Energy offering and strategy.
• Accountable for the technical solution in tenders and will have a technical coordinating role in tenders.
• Builds and supports FACTS team for development of competencies and employees in NAM.
• Supports and participates in market communications : seminars, conference events, publications.
• Supports Sales in Capture Team activities and is generally part of Capture Team
