Job description

Emergency Medicine physician employment in Ohio : Locum Emergency Medicine Athens, Ohio (IMLC Welcome)

Coverage Dates : ASAP Ongoing NeedType : Locum Tenens

Position Overview

Schedule : 510 shifts / month, mostly nights and weekends (7a7p or 7p7a)

Weekend Requirements : Yes

Organization : Physician-led

Annual Volume : 28,000 visits / year

Beds : 22-bed Emergency Department

Coverage Model :

24 hours / day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)

36 hours / day of APP coverage

EMR System : Epic

Requirements

Board Certification : ABMS / AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Required (no exceptions)

Licensure : Active Ohio License Required

IMLC accepted (must provide proof of LOQ within 3 business days of job acceptance)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years recent experience Required

Certifications : ACLS Required

ATLS Required

BLS Required

PALS Required

NRP Required

COVID Vaccination : Required

Background : Must have a clean malpractice and disciplinary record No exceptions
