Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in driving recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires. This position also supports ongoing HR initiatives and special projects to advance organizational goals.
Schedule : This position is part time for 20 hours a week and will be hybrid eligible
Duties and Responsibilities :
Recruiting and Onboarding (75%) :
- Administer the cloud-based Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines.
- Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Proactively source candidates for hard-to-fill positions, leveraging multiple channels.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and deliver candidate assessments to hiring managers.
- Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Oversee onboarding activities, including preboarding, first-day logistics, and welcome communications.
- Facilitate new hire orientation as needed.
HR projects and Operations (25%)
Support ongoing HRIS (Human Resources Information System) maintenance and data integrity.Ensure accurate documentation and filing of employee records.Assist in planning and executing company events that foster employee engagementUpdate human resources policies and proceduresContribute to special HR projects as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree requiredPrior experience in healthcare and recruitment preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrategic thinker with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.Exceptional organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.High attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Physical Demands
Role requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, pulling, pushing, standing, carrying, and lifting of light loads (up to 35 lbs).
