BASIC FUNCTION
Primary function is to develop and monitor all processes involved in the creation of all manufactured parts from design to deburring. The Process Engineer is responsible for job development including tooling needed and tooling design, as well as all programming needed to manufacture product. Critical to the position is the ability to problem solve all production issues that can’t be solved by department heads. Continuous improvement in all processes and the ability to formulate methods of improvement are vital to the position

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Trade School or High School diploma. Minimum of 10yrs programming and creation experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
This position requires the ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and make log entries. Ability to speak English fluently.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
1. Ability to read and understand written instructions.
2. Ability to work with basic hand-tools. (Screwdriver, hammer, wrench, files and deburring tools)
3. Ability to understand cam languages
4. Education in CNC control languages and ability to evaluate programs to maximize efficiency.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
