DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(s) (CRNA) to support Mike O' Callaghan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), 99th Medical Inpatient Treatment Facility, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.

Education :

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
Graduate of a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA)

Licensure :

Permanent, full, and unrestricted RN license and CRNA license

Valid license to practice in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory

Board Certification :

Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)

Certifications :

Must maintain current certifications in :

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS must follow American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines

Experience

Minimum of two years of active CRNA practice within the last six months

Experience must include General Anesthesia and Obstetric (Neuraxial) Anesthesia

Background in Intensive Care Nursing

Proficient in full-spectrum anesthesia care : General, Regional, Neuraxial, and Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)

Experience with adult, pediatric, obstetric, and geriatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage patient anesthesia care without physician supervision

Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, obtain informed consent, and order necessary diagnostics and medications

Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans

Perform immediate pre-induction assessments, reviewing medical records and evaluating patient status

Administer anesthesia and monitor patient responses throughout surgical procedures

Maintain physiologic homeostasis and manage abnormal reactions

Collect and interpret physiological data using noninvasive monitoring techniques

Manage airway and pulmonary status during procedures

Oversee patient emergence and recovery from anesthesia, including pain management and complication prevention

Administer medications, fluids, and ventilator support as needed

Document all anesthesia-related events, including drug dosages, fluid administration, and patient responses

Record post-anesthetic visits and note any anesthesia-related complications.
