DESCRIPTION
Decypher is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(s) (CRNA) to support Mike O' Callaghan Military Medical Center (MOMMC), 99th Medical Inpatient Treatment Facility, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
Education :
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA)
Licensure :
Permanent, full, and unrestricted RN license and CRNA licenseValid license to practice in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territoryBoard Certification :
Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Certifications :
Must maintain current certifications in :Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)BLS, ACLS, and PALS must follow American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelinesExperience
Minimum of two years of active CRNA practice within the last six monthsExperience must include General Anesthesia and Obstetric (Neuraxial) AnesthesiaBackground in Intensive Care NursingProficient in full-spectrum anesthesia care : General, Regional, Neuraxial, and Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)Experience with adult, pediatric, obstetric, and geriatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settingsKey Responsibilities
Independently manage patient anesthesia care without physician supervisionConduct pre-anesthetic assessments, obtain informed consent, and order necessary diagnostics and medicationsDevelop and implement individualized anesthetic plansPerform immediate pre-induction assessments, reviewing medical records and evaluating patient statusAdminister anesthesia and monitor patient responses throughout surgical proceduresMaintain physiologic homeostasis and manage abnormal reactionsCollect and interpret physiological data using noninvasive monitoring techniquesManage airway and pulmonary status during proceduresOversee patient emergence and recovery from anesthesia, including pain management and complication preventionAdminister medications, fluids, and ventilator support as neededDocument all anesthesia-related events, including drug dosages, fluid administration, and patient responsesRecord post-anesthetic visits and note any anesthesia-related complications.
