The Hired Guns are seeking a sophisticated Senior Art Director for a leading investment management firm. You’ll play a pivotal role in a massive, end-to-end transformation of their consumer-facing digital experiences and in helping them imagine and create unique and stimulating physical environments for their team and customers.

This highly lauded investment management firm is transforming consumer-facing digital experiences. In response, they’re looking for someone who can turn their business goals into a great art direction. As Senior Art Director, you will have a uniquely varied and compelling mission: to look at the firm’s capabilities and attributes on a highly conceptual level, then translate those concepts into a host of experiences of many kinds: digital, visual, and physical. You will create digital and print communications that convey the investment’s brand. You’ll expertly craft roughs, mockups, and prototypes using suitable designs, colors, fonts, and graphics. You’ll share your up-to-date knowledge on industry technology and trends while collaborating with copywriters and designers to develop comprehensive creative solutions. You will guide, mentor, and encourage other designers on the team while assisting cross-functional teams from conceptualization to implementation. Plus, you will ensure the adequacy of resources/materials, meeting timelines and budget, as well as high-quality outputs based on clients’ specifications and business requirements.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit…

With experience in Art Director roles in marketing or agency environments, you have an extensive portfolio that demonstrates your strategic thinking, advanced art direction skills, and your design abilities. You’re an expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). You have deep experience working with cross-functional marketing, creative and production teams. You consider yourself to be a proactive, self-starter who thrives in collaborative and independent work. You’re a superb multi-tasker who values great design every step of the way. Nice-to-haves include experience with Adobe After Premiere or After Effects, experience with HTML5, and a history of working with corporate identity and branding. Note, you don’t need to have fintech experience, but if you do, more power to you!
