The role involves working in a general medicine unit, and you will have the opportunity to engage with students and new hires in a teaching hospital environment. As a traveling nurse, you may be asked to float to a sister campus. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical surgical setting. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with healthcare team members. Assist in the training and support of nursing students and new hires. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Schedule Shift : 12-hour night shifts from Sunday to Saturday. Orientation begins every other week on Mondays. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with gaps in work history explained if over 90 days.
