What You'll Do as the Project Engineer, Bridge Design :
- Lead the preparation of design calculations, plans, and specifications for bridge and structural components
- Oversee construction cost estimates and quality assurance reviews
- Conduct field visits to gather data, evaluate site conditions, and resolve construction challenges
- Review construction submittals and provide technical guidance during project execution
- Coach and support junior engineers in design methods, documentation, and professional development
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful transportation projects
Project Engineer, Bridge Design Requirements :
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering5-10 years of progressive bridge design experienceStrong technical skills with engineering software and design toolsEffective written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's license and ability to travel within New York State as neededNice-to-Haves as the Project Engineer, Bridge Design :
