We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support operations in our boat manufacturing facility. This role involves handling marine parts and materials, managing inventory, and ensuring the timely flow of components to and from the production floor. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of parts, materials, and equipment
- Organize and store inventory including fiberglass components, hardware, engines, and electrical systems
- Pull and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders and build schedules
- Package and stage parts and finished goods for outbound shipments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy or oversized marine components
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse software or inventory management systems
- Assist with cycle counts and regular stock audits- strong attention to detail
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Communicate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to coordinate material flow
- Support loading and unloading of boats, trailers, and large marine components
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED requiredPrevious warehouse or manufacturing experience, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial settingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, walk for extended period of times and perform physically demanding tasksFamiliarity with warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) - certification a plusBasic computer skills for inventory systems, email, and data entryAttention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a team-first attitudeUnderstanding of safety protocols and material handling best practicesPreferred Skills :
Knowledge of boat parts, marine terminology, or boat assembly processesExperience working with large or delicate components (e.g., hulls, engines, custom rigging)Ability to read and interpret work orders, part numbers, and schematicsWork Environment :
Outdoor warehouse setting in a manufacturing facilityMay involve exposure to fiberglass dust, noise, and varying temperaturesUse of PPE such as gloves and eye protection
