Site Foreman / Lead Technician Global Cloud & Data Centers (GCDC)

Location : El Paso, TX Direct Hire Opportunity | Superior Skilled Trades

Position Overview

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring a Site Foreman / Lead Technician for a Global Cloud and Data Centers (GCDC) project in El Paso, TX. This direct-hire position oversees field installation, coordination, and commissioning of complex security and network systems within high-tech data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily field operations and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and schedule goals.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specs, and BOMs to plan and execute project tasks.
  • Oversee and assist with installation of access control, video surveillance, and network systems (Layer 2 / 3 switches, media converters, Software House boards, power supplies, biometric readers, etc.).
  • Perform and document QA / QC, Level II and III commissioning, and support third-party testing.
  • Maintain accurate field reports, pre-task plans, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all site-specific requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Site Foreman, Lead Technician, or similar role (security integration or data center environment preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and network infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and labeling standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or G-Drive tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Relevant low-voltage or manufacturer certifications (Amag, Lenel, C-Cure, Genetec, etc.) preferred.
