Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, dozers and / or excavators. Install underground utilities such as water lines, storm drains and sewer lines. Dig ditches. Load trucks. Use dozers to finish grade or rough grade. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed. Perform various general laborer / cleaning duties as needed such as sweeping and picking up trash.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : Types of equipment include backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, dozers and / or excavators. Experience with install underground utilities such as water lines, storm drains and sewer lines is a plus. Grading experience is preferred, both finish or rough. OSHA certification is not required, but is a plus. Experience Level : Intermediate Level.

Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Smyrna, TN.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
