Join our dedicated Orthopedics & Spine Unit-M2 as a Clinical Nurse II, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care during night shifts, working 36 hours per week. We are seeking compassionate and skilled nurses who are eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will :
- Implement physician orders and administer medications safely and effectively.
- Start IVs and perform treatments, procedures, and special tests while documenting all care as outlined by policies and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patient conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
- Apply sound nursing judgment when making patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).Active NYS Registered Nurse license.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.Proficient in quality concepts and problem-solving techniques relevant to patient care improvement.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center, where your skills and compassion can truly make a difference!
